This person opens doors and keeps them open.

Core responsibilities

Core responsibilities
•Go market-to-market daily across assigned LGAs
•Onboard retailers, pharmacies, supermarkets, chemists
•Push first-time stocking and repeat orders
•Collect market feedback (pricing, packaging, objections)
•Manage field promoters or merchandisers when added later
•Ensure Velmara is visible, positioned properly, and reordered

Day-to-day looks like

  • 15–25 retail touchpoints per day
    •WhatsApp follow-ups at night
    •Weekly sales summary with brutal honesty
    •Weekend activations where needed
     
    Qualifications & experience
    •OND / HND / BSc (not strict, Lagos experience matters more)
    •2–4 years FMCG field sales experience (pads, soaps, beverages, pharma, etc.)
    •Deep Lagos street intelligence
    •Comfortable talking to women retailers
    •Can sell without feeling salesy

    •Persuasive, not aggressive
    •Doesn’t wait for instructions
     
    Compensation (Lagos-realistic)
    •Base: ₦110,000 /month
    •Performance commission: 2–5% on collections
    •Transport/Airtime/data allowanceallowance: ₦50,000
